nv vogt Philippines

The Philippines energy market is distinguished by a high proportion of diesel and bunker fuel in the energy sourcing mix. Plants run on either diesel or bunker fuel are used as peaking load suppliers. This makes it an ideal target for the introduction of solar energy at affordable rates during daytime to replace the peaking load supply by diesel or bunker fuel. nv vogt is working with strong electricity distribution organisations all over the Philippines helping them lower their generation cost by introducing solar energy in their daytime peaking load mix. Its first bilateral PPA for a 6.25 MWp solar plant has been signed with SOCOTECO-1 located in the city of Koronadal which is on the island of Mindanao. This is the first ever such PPA signed in the Philippines. nv vogt has partnered with Armstrong Asset Management to finance its current Philippines solar pipelines.
